According to Reuters, Wang met Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov and Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on the evening of July 23 to discuss bilateral ties, regional cooperation and security.
During his meeting with Ryzhenkov, Wang praised Belarus for steadfastly supporting China on issues Beijing considers to be its core interests. He also called for strengthening bilateral security cooperation and accelerating preparations for the establishment of a development bank.
The two sides also signed a plan for consultations between their foreign ministries covering 2026–2027.
In his talks with Saidov, Wang called for advancing the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway project and implementing larger industrialization projects.
He stressed the need to make full use of the joint law enforcement and security cooperation mechanism between the two countries.
The Chinese foreign minister also called for closer coordination through multilateral platforms, including the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the China–Central Asia mechanism.
Commenting on the meeting, Saidov said the discussions covered a broad range of issues, including political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, investment, high technology and other priority areas of bilateral relations.
"During our dialogue, we discussed a broad range of issues related to our cooperation in politics, trade and economic relations, investment, high technology and other priority areas," Saidov said in a statement.
