According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, the suspect was found as a result of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Turkey.
Following his arrest, he was extradited to Uzbekistan and handed over to the relevant authorities to continue the investigation and court proceedings.
The suspect had been placed on the international wanted list in connection with a criminal case under Article 168 of Uzbekistan's Criminal Code, which covers fraud.
