The agency said a pre-investigation inquiry found that officials of Issiqlik Ta'minoti LLC submitted documents containing false information to the regional Department of Economy and Finance during 2024, 2025, and the January–May 2026 period.
According to investigators, the company actually supplied 85,700 gigacalories (Gcal) of thermal energy to households but reported deliveries of 212,300 Gcal in the documents submitted to the authorities.
Based on the inflated figures, the company allegedly received UZS 12.9 billion in unjustified subsidies from the state budget, causing what investigators described as particularly large-scale financial damage to the state's interests.
A criminal case has been opened, and investigative actions are underway.
