According to data from the National Statistics Committee, the total volume of fixed capital investment increased by 17.5% compared with the same period in 2025.
Manufacturing received UZS 100.5 trillion, or nearly 30% of all investment during the six-month period. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries ranked second with UZS 32.9 trillion, followed by construction at UZS 32.5 trillion.
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning attracted UZS 29.9 trillion, while UZS 27.3 trillion was invested in residential construction.
Mining and quarrying accounted for UZS 21.8 trillion, followed by transportation and storage with UZS 16.3 trillion. Wholesale and retail trade, along with the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, attracted UZS 13.7 trillion.
Investment in water supply, sewerage, waste collection and recycling amounted to UZS 7.4 trillion. Education received UZS 7.2 trillion, while information and communications attracted UZS 5.8 trillion.
Accommodation and food services accounted for UZS 5.6 trillion in investment. Professional, scientific and technical activities and healthcare and social services each received UZS 4.6 trillion.
Financial and insurance activities attracted UZS 2.4 trillion, while arts, entertainment and recreation received UZS 2 trillion. Other types of economic activity accounted for a combined UZS 24.4 trillion.
