The committee said the economy expanded by 8.5% compared with the same period of 2025.

Sectoral gross value added accounted for 8.1 percentage points of overall economic growth, while net taxes on products contributed the remaining 0.4 percentage points.

The latest figures continue the country's upward economic trajectory. GDP at current prices reached UZS 441.5 trillion in the first half of 2022, rising to UZS 527.7 trillion in the same period of 2023, UZS 670.1 trillion in 2024, UZS 900.7 trillion in 2025, and UZS 1,072.7 trillion in the first six months of 2026.

The data are preliminary and may be revised by the National Statistics Committee as additional information becomes available.
