According to the document, JSC Tashkent Invest Company will act as the project developer and auction organizer. The company will prepare a business plan for each property before it is offered for sale. It will receive 1% of the proceeds from each sale, along with reimbursement of the costs associated with organizing the auctions.
The resolution stipulates that buyers will be required to redevelop the sites into modern eco-markets, retail and service facilities, entertainment centers and multi-story parking structures.
The list of properties includes several of Tashkent's best-known markets and shopping complexes, among them Orikzor, Qoyliq, Aviasozlar, Sergeli, Parkent, Yangiobod, Qora-qamish and Farhod, as well as numerous affiliated branches.
