Uzbekistan youth teams defeat Kazakhstan and draw with Turkey
The Uzbekistan U-20 national team, led by Ravshan Haydarov, defeated Kazakhstan U-21 in both friendly matches, while the U-17 squad coached by Islombek Ismoilov played two draws against Turkey.
From 12 to 14 October, Uzbekistan U-20 played two friendly matches against Kazakhstan U-21 at the “Dostlik” Stadium in Tashkent region.
In the first match, a late goal by Firdavs Abdurakhmonov secured victory for the hosts. In the second encounter, Kazakhstan opened the scoring early, but Uzbekistan responded with three goals.

Abdugafur Haydarov equalized in the 13th minute and completed his brace in the 35th minute. Early in the second half, Asilbek Jumayev sealed the 3–1 win.

Meanwhile, the Uzbekistan U-17 national team – preparing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in Qatar this November – faced Turkey in two friendlies at the JAR Stadium in Tashkent.
Both matches ended in draws.
In the first game on 11 October, the Turkish team took a two-goal lead in the first half, but Islombek Ismoilov’s players made a comeback. Murodov scored the first goal in stoppage time of the first half, and Sarsenbayev equalized late in the second half – 2–2.
In the second match, played on 14 October, both sides failed to score – 0–0.
