Uzbekistan’s permanent population exceeds 37.5 million
As of December 9, 2024, the permanent population of Uzbekistan has reached 37,535,605 people.

According to the Statistics Agency, the number of women is 18.6 million, while the number of men is 18.9 million.
On April 22, the permanent population of Uzbekistan had reached 37 million.
Earlier, it was reported how many people correspond to one square kilometer of land area in Uzbekistan.
According to the Statistics Agency, as of October 1, 2024, an average of 83.2 permanent residents correspond to 1 square kilometer of land area in Uzbekistan.
This is an increase of 1.7 people compared to the same period last year (as of October 1, 2023, there were an average of 81.5 people per square kilometer).
