Paris 2024: Abdumalik Khalokov brings 7th gold to Uzbekistan team
Uzbekistan has secured its fourth gold medal in boxing at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
Flag bearer of the delegation, Abdumalik Khalokov, triumphed in his debut Olympics. The -57 kg weight category boxer faced Kyrgyzstan's Munarbek Seitbek Uulu in the final, winning with a unanimous decision.
Thus, the number of medals Uzbekistan's delegation bagged at the 2024 Olympics has reached 11—7 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze.
