Uzbekistan Football Association accountant accused of embezzling $350,000 and fleeing

Today, on February 19, reports surfaced on social media alleging that an accountant of the Uzbekistan Football Association embezzled $350,000 and fled to Türkiye. The UFA has commented on the situation.

According to the association, an investigation into the matter is currently underway. 

The UFA asked people not to disseminate unverified reports and stated that once the investigation is completed and conclusions are drawn, additional information about the outcome will be provided.
