Individuals trying to smuggle $300,000 out of the country detained at Tashkent airport

At the Tashkent International Airport, customs officers detained two people who tried to smuggle more than $300,000 in cash hiding between notebooks and clothes.

For information, cash currency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and (or) foreign currency in the amount of more than 70 million soums imported and exported by individuals is subject to customs control by filling out a passenger customs declaration and submitting it to the customs officer.
