Toddler, 1, dies of gas poisoning in Fergana

A tragic incident occurred in Fergana region - a small child, 1, died of carbon monoxide poisoning, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

“On the night of December 15, M. Kh., a resident of the makhalla “Yangiobod”  in Yozyovon district of Fergana region, fell asleep placing coal in the stove. As a result, carbon monoxide leaked into the house,” the Ministry of Interior reported.

Consequently, a one-year-old girl was poisoned by carbon monoxide and died. Law enforcement bodies are investigating the details of the incident.
